LinkedIn Sourcing: Solved! - June 23 & 24 (Repeating May's Sold Out Class)

June 21 · Issue #47 · View online
Dear Sourcers,
We are repeating our two-part course about solving LinkedIn sourcing challenges (which sold out in May) this week!
Are you searching for professionals on LinkedIn? If so, you’ve likely encountered the same challenges that we and thousands of other sourcers and recruiters have faced.
We have found ways to overcome almost every obstacle to effective LinkedIn Sourcing. Next week, we are hosting a 2-day training class to share those solutions with you:
  • Day 1 (Wednesday, June 23rd) - Overcoming Limitations - recommended for intermediate audiences.
  • Day 2 (Thursday, June 24th) - Hidden Search Operators and URLs - recommended for advanced audiences.

Basic (Free or Business "Premium") Accounts Find More
As of this writing, Basic (Free or Business “Premium”) LinkedIn accounts have more powerful search capabilities than LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator accounts. With a basic account, you can approximate almost every premium search filter available in LinkedIn Recruiter (priced around $10,000 per user per year). You can also search in ways that are unavailable in Recruiter.
For one example, you can search for unique filters such as Headlines and Skills and combine these other filters such as Company Size, Company Type, Years of Experience, or Schools using Boolean search strings.

LinkedIn’s Boolean limitations are a constant frustration for power users. But a simple change to the way you write Boolean operators will eliminate this barrier. We even provide a simple tool that will help convert your old saved searches into this new format.
Turn Your Mailing List Into Your Network
Have you ever tried to take a list of candidates (i.e., event attendees or your old CRM export) and turn them into LinkedIn Connections? If so, you’ve no doubt been frustrated by LinkedIn’s frequently changing, often broken import options. Even if you have LinkedIn Recruiter, you can only import lists 200 at a time. We will show you how to instantly upload and cross-reference over 1,500 email addresses at a time.

None of these powerful features are documented anywhere else: even LinkedIn Help will not help you master them. So if you would like to learn how to source masterfully with a free LinkedIn account, be sure to register today for our two-part class:
